Howdy, y'all. My name is Trucker Jim. I manage this web site and most everything else I can. By the name you probably surmise I am a truck driver. That just about sums it up -- with a few exceptions. I actually drove truck for close to 26 years, but had to retire in 1996 due to some health problems. I'm a Yankee by birth, but spent all the years from the time I got out of the service in Texas. That gives me a combination Massachusetts and Texan accent that many mistake for Cajun. That's O.K. by me, because there's not much that can beat good Cajun food and toe tappin', knee slappin' music! I have three step-children and two sons and two grandsons that I spoil just as much as I can. In addition, in 1999 I married my wife, Otternot, and gained more family than I can count on both hands - and hers too, hands that is. We're what you call a well blended family. She's a Yankee and after a few years in Texas we relocated to Washington State where we now reside. I was born a City boy, lived in Texas, drove truck, now learning to be a country boy. Not just a drug store cowboy either. We grow our own food I've finally learned that corn doesn't come in cans and cows don't produce chocolate milk. Both Otternot and I love music and computers, so it was a natural transition for us to put up a page that incorporated some of this. We sure hope y'all enjoy it and visit us often. Drop us an e-mail and let us know your comments or suggestions.
